Hukumar ƙididdiga ta ƙasa (NBS) ta bayyana cewa matsakaicin kuɗin da mutum guda zai kashe domin samun ingantaccen abinci mai gina jiki a rana ya kai naira 1,513 a watan Fabrairun 2026. Hukumar ta bayyana hakan ne cikin rahotonta na “Cost of a Healthy Diet (CoHD)” na watan Fabrairu da aka fitar a Abuja.
A cewar NBS, wannan adadi ya nuna ƙarin kashi 3.76 cikin ɗari idan aka kwatanta da naira 1,458 da aka samu a watan Janairun 2026. Hukumar ta bayyana cewa ma’aunin CoHD na nufin mafi ƙarancin haɗin nau’ikan abinci da ake samu a cikin gida wanda zai cika ƙa’idojin abinci mai kyau na duniya.
Ta ce, ana amfani da wannan ma’auni wajen tantance yadda jama’a ke iya samun abinci mai kyau ta fuskar kuɗi da kuma samuwarsa. Sai dai hukumar ta jaddada cewa lissafin bai haɗa da kuɗin sufuri ko girki ba, domin yana nuna mafi ƙarancin kuɗin da mutum zai kashe wajen samun abinci mai lafiya kawai.
Rahoton ya nuna cewa yankin Kudu maso Gabas ne ya fi kowanne yanki tsadar samun ingantaccen abinci, inda farashin ya kai naira 1,889 ga mutum ɗaya a rana.
Yankin Kudu maso Yamma ya biyo baya da naira 1,786 a rana. A gefe guda kuma, yankin Arewa maso Gabas shi ne mafi sauƙin farashi, inda aka samu matsakaicin naira 1,160 ga mutum a rana.
A matakin jihohi kuwa, Ekiti ce ta fi tsada da naira 2,075, sai Imo da naira 2,051, yayin da Abia ta zo ta uku da naira 1,924. Jihohin Adamawa, Borno da Taraba ne suka fi sauƙin farashi, inda aka samu naira 979, naira 1,040 da kuma naira 1,102 bi da bi.
NBS ta ce, farashin samun abinci mai lafiya ya ci gaba da ƙaruwa cikin shekara guda da ta gabata. A cewar rahoton, farashin ya ƙaru da kashi 12.4 cikin ɗari idan aka kwatanta da watan Fabrairun shekarar 2025, inda ya tashi daga naira 1,346 zuwa naira 1,513. Hukumar ta bayyana cewa manyan rukunin abincin da suka fi haddasa hauhawar farashin sun haɗa da abincin da ake samu daga dabbobi, sai ’ya’yan itatuwa, mai da kitse, da kayan lambu.
Sai dai ta ce farashin abinci mai ɗauke da sinadarin starch kamar hatsi ya ragu idan aka kwatanta da bara.
Rahoton ya ƙara da cewa, abincin da ake samu daga dabbobi kamar nama, kifi da ƙwai ne suka fi tsada wajen samar da ingantaccen abinci. A cewar NBS, wannan rukuni kaɗai ya ɗauki kashi 39 cikin ɗari na jimillar kuɗin abinci mai lafiya, duk da cewa yana samar da kashi 13 cikin ɗari na kuzarin calories. Haka kuma, ’ya’yan itatuwa da kayan lambu su ne suka fi tsada idan aka auna su da yawan kuzarin calories da suke bayarwa.
Rahoton ya nuna cewa layan lambu da gyaɗa da hatsi su ne mafi sauƙin farashi, inda suka ɗauki kashi bakwai cikin ɗari kawai na jimillar kuɗin abinci mai lafiya. NBS ta kuma bayyana cewa farashin samun abinci mai lafiya ya fi saurin ƙaruwa idan aka kwatanta da hauhawar farashin kaya gabaɗaya da kuma hauhawar farashin abinci.
Sai dai hukumar ta ce ba za a iya kwatanta ma’aunin CoHD kai tsaye da Consumer Price Indeɗ (CPI) ba, domin CoHD yana amfani da kaɗan daga cikin kayan abinci kuma ana auna shi ne da kuɗin da mutum zai kashe a rana.
A ƙarshe, hukumar ta ce sakamakon rahoton zai taimaka wa masu tsara manufofi, masana bincike da ƙungiyoyin farar hula wajen samar da hanyoyin tabbatar da samuwar abinci mai lafiya da sauƙin samu ga jama’a.
