Yadda wasan damben gargajiya ke karɓuwa a Nijeriya

Wasan damben gargajiya baya buƙatar wani dogon gabatarwa ga masu karatu, domin wasa ne da ya shahara ba ma a nan ƙasar ba, har ma faɗin Afrika ta Yamma gaba ɗaya. Hausawa dai kan masa kirari da “Saga wasan mahaukata, mai hankali yana na daina mahaukaci yana zan fara.” Ba muda wani cikakken bayani akan lokacin da aka fara wasan damben a tarihin Ƙasar Hausa, sai dai shaidu na tarihi sun nuna irin tasirin sa a rayuwar Bahaushe tun shekaru aru aru da suka shuɗe.

Babban misali na daɗewar wasan dambe shi ne abinda muka samu daga tarihin Ƙasar Katsina, inda aka yi wani shahararren dambe tsakanin Sarkin Katsina Sanau da abokin hamayyar sa Korau. Inda a ƙarshe dai Korau ya yi nasarar kayar da Sanau, ya kuma yanka babban ɗan sa Mashedi. Wannan ne ya sanya ake masa kirari da “Ma kas Mashedi baƙon Sanau, Korau abu gungurun, Korau mayen Samri” Muhimmancin wannan dambe ba ƙarami bane ga tarihin Ƙasar Hausa, domin dai da farko ya fito da yadda a lokacin ƙarfi shi ne babban jigon shugabanci a wannan yanki namu.

Wani abin daya sanya dambe ya ƙara samun tagomashi shi ne nasarar da aka ga wasu da suka kama shi bi ƙuwwatin sun samu, baya ga shahara, gashi kuma suna samun kuɗaɗe daga wasannin da suke yi, musamman irin su Shagon Bakura, Dandunawa, Ango Ɗangiye, Gundumi, Basafce da irin su Miko Dogo. Wannan ta zaburar da wasu matasa a shekarun 70s suka rungumi wannan sana’a ta dambe ka’in da na’in. a wannan lokaci ‘yan dambe irin su, Ado Ɗankore, Lawwalin Maibara, Halilu Kwalara, Sani Ƙanin Basafce, Muhammadu ɗan Sanyinna (Muhammadu Raba Gardama), Musa na Maigatari, Mai Farar Gira, Wada Haɗeja da irin su Mati na Badiya suka shigo suma suka yi sharafin su.

To amma kuma sana’ar dambe ta samu ci baya tun daga wasu shekaru na zamanin Abacha, bayan yawancin waxanda suka fara da su Ado Ɗankore sun bari wasu kuma sun rasu. A wannan lokuta dai sai da ya zamana guraren wasannin musamman Kisgadi a manyan biranen mu sun zama kango, domin hankalin mutane ya tashi daga kan wasan ya koma kan wasu sha’anonin na rayuwa. A yanzu dai an fara mantawa da tsoffin ‘yan dambe, domin yanzu sabbi ne masu jini a jika suke da fagen, irin su Garkuwan Chindo, Ebola, Ashiru Horror, Ali Qanin Bello, Dogon a leƙa, Shagon ‘Yan sanda, Shagon Mada, Ɗan Aliyu Zaki, Bahagon Sanin Kurna da sauran su.
